Meanwhile Brewing Co. Expands Distribution to San Antonio, Names Sales Representative
Self-distributed Austin-based craft brewery expands beyond Central Texas.

Meanwhile Brewing Co. (www.meanwhilebeer.com), the Austin-based brewery known for its hoppy ales and lagers, is expanding into San Antonio, bringing its award-winning beers to local grocery stores, restaurants, and bars. To lead this expansion, the brewery has appointed Vanessa Garza as its San Antonio Sales Representative. In this newly created role, Garza is responsible for driving sales and building relationships with key accounts in the San Antonio metropolitan area.
With 16 years of experience in the San Antonio beverage market, including working with both imported and domestic beer brands, as well as wine and spirits, Garza brings deep industry knowledge and strong local connections to the Meanwhile Brewing Co. team. Most recently, she served as a Specialist and Brand Manager with Silver Eagle Distributors, where she focused on sales strategy, account management, and brand development.

Garza, who has been recognized for her work in the industry, expressed enthusiasm about bringing Meanwhile Brewing Co. to her hometown.

Vanessa Garza began her career in the beverage industry in 2009 as a Specialist for Constellation’s imported beers at Silver Eagle Distributors. She later served as an On-Premise Specialist, focusing on products for Anheuser-Busch and Crown Imports before transitioning to Republic National Distributing in 2015, where she specialized in fine wines. In 2019, she returned to Silver Eagle Distributors as a Package Liquor Sales Specialist, overseeing sales objectives, account management, and new distribution for 60 independent package liquor accounts. A San Antonio native, Garza’s deep understanding of the local market makes her a key asset in Meanwhile Brewing Co.’s expansion.
