The initial aroma of this beer was hoppy floral notes – very typical of this style. The color featured a light straw hue along with light carbonation. The flavor had a nice malt sweetness balanced with some hop bitterness, but I felt that the hop bitterness was lacking for this style. To put it frankly, it didn’t have enough hops to warrant the IPA moniker and maybe a better category would be a Pale Ale. Also, the body of this beer was very light as well as lacking in carbonation. This beer wasn’t big enough in terms of malt and hops for an IPA.
