New Terrain Brewing to Open New Location in Palisade With 20 Taps, Food Trucks, Outdoor Patio and More

New Terrain Brewing Co. is expanding beyond Golden with a new destination in Palisade designed for beer lovers, families and those looking to enjoy the outdoors. The new location will feature a wide selection of beers, daily rotating food trucks, a pet-friendly patio, live entertainment for the opening and plenty of space to gather. Its arrival on the Western Slope comes as the Colorado brewery celebrates a decade of brewing and growing its community.
In a press release, New Terrain announced that it will celebrate the Palisade opening on Saturday, October 3rd from 11:00am to 10:00pm at 691 36 Rd.
The new taproom brings the brewery’s award-winning beer and “For Those Who Wander” spirit to the Western Slope. And it marks New Terrain’s second taproom, coinciding with the brewery’s 10th year in Colorado.
The Palisade brewery will feature up to 20 taps pouring a mix of New Terrain favorites, rotating releases, and beers brewed specifically for the Western Slope. Beyond that, plenty of non-beer options will be available, including non-alcoholic beer, other non-alcoholic beverages, gluten-free beer, and Adult Slushies called “Slüsh.” Guests can also expect a large pet-friendly outdoor patio with plenty of seating, a stage for live music, rotating food trucks on site daily, plentiful onsite parking, a kids’ area on the far side of the property, and even a basketball hoop.
The brewery’s decision to expand to Palisade stems from the owners’, Kaylee & Josh Robbins’, ties to the Western Slope. The original location in Golden came from their tenure at Colorado School of Mines, while the new spot in Palisade comes from family ties and a love for Palisade.
The opening celebration will include live music from Pick & Howl, multiple beers on tap, two food trucks on site, and more. Admission is free and reservations are not required – this should be similar to most events at this location.
