Locally owned and operated, Bold City Brewery was created by the mother/son team of Susan and Brian Miller. They both became dissatisfied with the corporate world and decided to join the beer biz in 2008. Brian began home brewing in 2002 and crafted what would later become Bold City's signature brands. Susan uses her corporate knowledge and runs the business side of the brewery while Brian heads brewery operations. The rest of the Miller family, with help from friends and relatives, all have a hand in the day to day operations. Bold City is truly a family owned and operated brewery. "The concept of opening a business, any business, can be a scary one, but at some point, you have to allow yourself to dream about what could be and push forward with your aspirations.
