Leavenworth is preparing for its annual Oktoberfest celebration – bringing together live music, traditional performances, and beer gardens at the center of the festivities. The event will transform the village into a lively hub of Bavarian-inspired food, culture, and entertainment spread across multiple weekends. Visitors can also look forward to a packed schedule of performances and family-friendly activities that add to the festival’s atmosphere.

According to a press release from the organizers of Oktoberfest in Leavenworth, the 2026 festival will be held over three weekends: October 2-3, 9-10, and 16-17.

Tickets go on sale July 1 at leavenworth.org/oktoberfest

To build excitement leading up to the festival, the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce launched its new Talkin’ Schnitzel YouTube Podcast alongside the start of Oktoberfest ticket sales. The first two episodes share insider tips, explore Bavarian traditions, and highlight what makes Leavenworth Oktoberfest such a unique experience. Prefer audio? Episodes are also available wherever you listen to podcasts.

This year’s festival features three stages of live entertainment and beer gardens at the Leavenworth Festhalle and Front Street Park. This year’s Oktoberfest lineup is packed with talent! Joining us straight from Europe are Swiss sensation Oesch’s die Dritten (Weekend 1) and Austria’s own Freddy Pfister Band (Weekend 3) — two acts you won’t want to miss.

Returning favorites S-Bahn, West Coast Prost, Michael Stoessl, AlpenFolk, Smilin’ Scandinavians, and Ted Lunka Polka Band keep the energy going across all three weekends. Weekend Two brings European Take-Out, while Weekend Three features the beloved Manuela Horn — the yodeling queen who never fails to bring down the house.

Rounding out the celebration all festival long are traditional performances from the Enzian Schuhplattler Dancers, Edelweiss Dance Academie, Tirolean Dancers of Portland, and Leavenworth Alphorns.
