Meanwhile Brewing Co., the award-winning Austin brewery, today announced the addition of Darlin’ Lager to its core lineup of beers, available in the South Austin taproom and grocery stores throughout Central Texas starting Friday, June 13. The brewery’s first six-pack offering features an approachable flavor and a bold, cowgirl-inspired can that captures Austin’s personality and Texas’ spirit. Meanwhile will celebrate the launch with western-themed events and a new line of limited-edition merchandise.
Created with the casual beer drinker in mind, Darlin’ is a 4.5% ABV lager brewed with Pilsner malt, wheat and corn, and hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, Hallertau Mittelfrüh, and Lorien. Fermented with Augustiner yeast, it offers a clean, easy-drinking profile with subtle notes of citrus, cracker, and honey. Darlin’ delivers low bitterness and high refreshment, making it the go-to choice for warm-weather gatherings and classic cookout dishes.

Meanwhile Brewing Co. will celebrate the release of Darlin’ Lager with a launch party on Friday, June 13, at the brewery from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will feature pop-ups from FM Hat Co., Springhorse Jewelry and Fieldwork Vintage, as well as a live performance by Ruby Dice from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Guests who show up in their best country-inspired outfits will receive 15% off their tab. In addition, as part of the launch weekend, Meanwhile is partnering with The Little Darlin’ to host a Father’s Day car show at the beloved South Austin bar on Sunday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The all-day event will include live music, trophies, raffles and local vendors.
