TwoConn Easy Ale by Two Roads Brewing Co. was judged as BJCP Category 18A, Blond Ale.
This beer has a familiar grainy malt aroma with herbal hop notes. It is clear and yellow with a dense, white head. Noble hops are the primary flavor with herbal and grassy characteristics. It has a firm bitterness that is well supported by the slightly sweet, mostly neutral malt backbone. Well carbonated with a medium body, this beer is very crisp. This style is notable for its approachable and easy-drinking character, while maintaining the quality and appeal of an all-malt, craft beer. This beer checks those boxes, with its pleasing, European-style hop notes adding a level of interest. You’ve had something like this before. Maybe at a tailgate party, maybe on a camping trip. You enjoyed it then, and you’ll enjoy it now.
