Back East Brewing Co. Announces Upcoming Beer Releases and Events

Thursday, November 7 (4-8pm)

Stop in to celebrate International Stout Day with us!  We are excited to be tapping a keg of our Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Vanilla Bean.  Aged for almost 2 years in bourbon barrels from Litchfield Distillery, this stout has a ton of flavor perfect for the start of colder weather.  We also pulled a keg of Big Ed Barleywine out of our cellar to tap.  Both will be available only on Thursday and only for on-site pours.  If you can't make it to Back East, then come say hi to Jon at Cracker Barrel in Simsbury as we take over the taps with Ice Cream Man IPA, Tony Goes Dancing Batch #21, Suzy Greenberg Mango IPA and several others.

Friday, November 8 (4-8pm)

This Friday we'll have 3 fresh batches of cans available, including: Suzy Greenberg Mango IPA, Czech Mix Pilsner, and & Winterfest.  Live music will be rocking inside, so stop in, stay warm with a brew or two, and pick up some cans to go.  All three of these beers will also be heading out for distribution in both cans and draft, so keep an eye out.

Friday, November 15 (4-8pm)

We are proud to be hosting a Movember fundraiser from 4-8pm.  Come out and have a beer for men's health!  $1 from every pour will be donated in support of Movember, an organization dedicated to tackling men's health issues, including prostate cancer. Stop in with your budding mustaches or full beards (fake or real), and take home a free Back East pint glass. We will have a great tap list for you to indulge in and live music performed by Tino Malone.

Saturday, November 16 - Ice Cream Man IPA can release (12-5pm)

The Ice Cream Man is back!  Ice Cream Man cans will be available beginning at noon from our back loading dock. This New England IPA is the embodiment of juicy and is always a crowd favorite.  Cans will be available until they run out (stay tuned for limits) and our tap room will be open for on-site pours from 12-5pm.  Ice Cream Man always pairs perfectly with the deliciousness that will be served up by the Greenhouse Tavern food truck all afternoon.  We are also pumped to announce the return of 7 Below, Simsbury's own Phish tribute band.  These guys will be rocking outside all day.  For all of you Phish Phans out there, they'll be performing the set list from 9/8/99 show in Chula Vista, CA (legendary if we must say so ourselves).  We hope you can make it!!!

Friday, November 22 (4-8pm)

We are proud once again to partner up with our friends and neighbors at Foodshare to announce our 8th Annual Turkey Drive on the 22nd. Please stop in with a turkey and/or $30, and enjoy a pint on us.  With a donation, your name will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift card to Back East.  We will also have the Grillin' & Groovin' food truck and live music performed by Bruce Gregori.  We've collected hundreds of turkeys and thousands of dollars over the years for Foodshare, who do so much to help our neighbors in need, and we hope this year will be our biggest turkey drive ever!

Wednesday, November 27 - Customer Appreciation Day (12-9pm)

Stop in for our extended hours on Wednesday the 27th, the day before Thanksgiving.  On this special day we will be celebrating YOU!  We love and appreciate all of the support we have received over the years, so we're happy to announce our second Customer Appreciate Day.  Stop in and pick up a newly designed stemless teku glass, free with any purchase (see picture above).  While you're here, enjoy the return of Big Day Off DIPA, our beer brewed in collaboration with our friends at Radio 104.1.  Big Day Off is jam packed with juiciness from El Dorado and Citra hops.  Speaking of Radio 104.1, Holden from the morning show will be at Back East broadcasting live from 3-5pm, so make sure to say hi.  Jim's Italian Sausages will be here all day serving up some great sausage & peppers!

Friday, November 29 - Black Friday (4-8pm)

Take a break from all that painful shopping, and stop by and have a beer and pick up some holiday swag at Back East!  We will be open on Black Friday from 4-8pm and all merchandise will be 20% off.  We just got in some new shirts and hats so stop by and take a look!
