Motorworks Brewing in Bradenton, Florida has announced the release of a fascinating new collaboration beer with cosmetics brand Kiehl's Since 1851.

Motorworks and Kiehl's worked together on apothecary-inspired beers such as “Magic Elixir” Calendula & Aloe Hefeweizen and “Hydration Libation” Ginger & Hibiscus Berliner Weisse-Style.

The beer will be available as complimentary pours at two Kiehl's locations in New York and California, and limited four-packs of 16-ounce cans will be available for purchase at Motorworks taproom.

Bradenton, Fla. (October 2018) – Motorworks Brewing and Kiehl’s Since 1851 have partnered to craft a pair of refreshing, apothecary-inspired craft brews with ingredients derived from two popular Kiehl’s skincare products.  First, the Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque delivers a refreshing surge of cooling hydration via hand-picked Calendula petals as a key ingredient.  While Kiehl’s Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Mask is a luxurious overnight mask infused with botanicals and essential oils.  

“Magic Elixir” Calendula & Aloe Hefeweizen is a golden, German-style wheat beer bursting with delicate botanic flavors and aromas, courtesy of calendula flowers and aloe that’s bolstered by bright notes melding into a cool surge of smooth, succulent refreshment. 

“Hydration Libation” Ginger & Hibiscus Berliner Weisse-Style Ale is light, tart and super refreshing. Brewed with ginger and hibiscus, this vibrant brew delivers an invigorating burst of tart, tropical fruit flavor and velvety floral notes that blossom into nectarous bliss.

Complimentary pours of each beer will be provided at two exclusive in-store sampling events at Kiehl’s freestanding store locations in California—175 N. Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, CA 92262—and New York (SoHo holiday pop up)—223 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10012—locations next month on Friday 11/2 and Thursday 11/8, respectively. 

A small number of cans (16oz.) will also be made available for purchase at Motorworks Brewing’s taproom at 1014 9^th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205.
