Reformation Brewery in Woodstock, Georgia has announced a new beer that combines the elements of a Rosé wine and a delightfully tart sour beer. Alani the Lighthearted is a lightly tart, 4.7 percent hybrid ale with grape must, cranberry, apple and hibiscus, making for a complex and quaffable creation.
The beer will release on May 4 at the brewery's annual "May the Fourth be with Brew" Star Wars-themed celebration.

ATLANTA (Tuesday, April 24, 2018) – This May, Reformation Brewery welcomes Alani The Lighthearted, a Rosé Ale that brings wine and beer together for an intriguing, quirky result.
On Friday, May 4, Star Wars fans can celebrate a first taste of Alani The Lighthearted at featured locations throughout Georgia including the brewery’s Woodstock tasting room for the brewery’s annual “May the Fourth be with Brew” celebration. Attendees will compete in a Star Wars themed best-dressed competition, enjoy limited draft-only beers made for the occasion, and cast votes for the “Light Side or the Dark Side.”
Alani The Lighthearted (4.7% ABV) is a lightly tart, hybrid ale with grape must, cranberry, apple and hibiscus, as well as traditional pilsner malt. This refreshing, light bodied beer is perfect for the hot summer months and will be available on draft and in 12 oz. cans at the brewery and throughout Georgia.

● On Friday, May 4, Star Wars fans can celebrate a first taste of Alani The Lighthearted at Reformation’s annual May The 4th Be With Brew.
● On Saturday, May 5, Reformation Brewery continues the Star Wars themed festivities starting at noon with family friendly activities, food trucks and a kid’s costume competition at 3 p.m. From 7 to 10 p.m. a Star Wars themed karaoke competition will be taking place at the brewery, hosted by Cherokee Music Center.
● On Saturday, May 5, attendees of the Le Fête du Rosé festival located in Atlanta’s Fourth Ward Park can enjoy sample tastings of Alani The Lighthearted with admission.
● On Saturday, May 12, beer lovers and their mothers can head to Reformation to say “aloha” to Alani during a special Luau Party featuring delicious beer-centric tiki-drinks. This early Mother’s Day celebration will have a variety of luau activities to enjoy including a hula hoop competition and a Hawaiian themed menu of barbecue. The first 100 customers will receive a free short pour and Hawaiian lei. The brewery is closed on Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 13.
