Southbound Brewing Co. in Savannah, Georgia has announced the release of the first beer in the brewery's new Discography: The Sour Collection series.

The first beer in the series will be called Impressionist, a dry-hopped kettle sour, which Brewmaster Smith Mathews describes as finding "the right balance between hops and tart."

SAVANNAH, GA (October 2, 2018) – Southbound Brewing Company launches new limited Discography beer series.
Southbound Brewing Company released the first of their limited run rotating beer series this week, starting with Discography: The Sour Collection. The first of this sour series to hit the market is a dry hopped American sour ale, Impressionist.

“We are extremely excited to be launching a new one-off collection of beers. We’re calling this series the “Discography Collection.” It will include various styles of beers including IPAs, Sours, and Lagers. The first of the series is the Impressionist. It will launch our Sour Collection. It’s a deliciously dry hopped kettle sour. The key here was finding the right balance between hops and tart. We feel like we’ve nailed it and are super happy with how it turned out!” – Smith Mathews, Brewmaster and Managing Partner, Southbound Brewing Co.
Consumers can keep an eye out for the next part of the series as Discography: The IPA Collection will launch Yacht Rock a Brut IPA later this month.
