Do you know a story – or have a personal story – that reviles around this beer?
This is a beer, which won “Best of Show” in a 1989 Home Brew competition in Emeryville, CA, sponsored by the Bay Area Mashers Home Brew Club. Amazingly, it used no blueberries or natural flavors. The blueberry characters were esters, a product of fermentation, and UK Kent Golding hops. It was nearly impossible to reproduce on a consistent basis, so we added blueberries to the recipe.

Whats a good food pairing for this beer?
I would pair this with a second bottle… or poured over a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream.
