Arches Brewing Reopens at Atlanta Utility Works in East Point

Arches Brewing has officially reopened at Atlanta Utility Works (AUW) in East Point, Georgia, following the closure of its original Hapeville location eight months ago. The move brings new opportunities for co-owner and brewmaster Jamey Adams, who has partnered with Melanie Styles, the owner of AUW and Cultured South Fermentation Co.

Styles, who also owns Golda Kombucha and Grandmother Hard Kombucha, initially planned for AUW to focus solely on kombucha. However, when Adams sought a new home for Arches, the partnership came together seamlessly. With Adams relocating his brewing equipment, the taproom now serves a mix of Arches’ signature beers alongside guest taps from Georgia breweries like Creature Comforts and Three Taverns.

While Adams shifts focus from distribution to in-house brewing, he will continue collaborating with Georgia-based breweries for larger production runs. AUW also offers a food menu featuring fermented specialties, including sauerkraut-topped sandwiches and kimchi-infused hot dogs.

Both Adams and Styles are East Point residents, and they see AUW as a vital community hub. The location’s proximity to MARTA and the growing local scene make it a promising addition to the area’s craft beer landscape. With extended hours for live music and a welcoming atmosphere, Arches Brewing’s new home is set to become a go-to destination for beer lovers in Atlanta.
