Back East Brewing Announces Return of Ice Cream Man IPA

Back East Brewing Co. in Bloomfield, Connecticut has announced the return of three beers, headlined by the extremely popular Ice Cream Man New England-style IPA.

Joining that juicy IPA release is Rakautra IPA and Intergalatic Lupulinary Double IPA. The full release from Back East is below.

Our next can release of Ice Cream Man IPA will be this Saturday, Cinco de Mayo.  If you were here for our last release on St. Patrick’s Day, this one will be just as fun, but with much nicer weather.  We will open at 10amand stay open until 4pm (even if these beers sell out).  The Achiote Mexican food truck will be here early, serving breakfast in the morning and tacos in the afternoon. 
 
We’re also canning Rakautra IPA later this week and we’ll have these available on Saturday, plus a small amount of Intergalactic Lupulinary cans.  All 3 of these IPAs were listed on Draft Magazine’s List of Top 50 IPAs in America (ranked at #5, #16, and #21), and this is the first time we’ll have all three of these beers available on the same day.
 
Ice Cream Man IPA will be limited to 3 six-packs per person for the first 200 people, and 2 six-packs pp thereafter (we will once again use tickets).  We expect to have enough Ice Cream Man for at least 600 people.  Rakautra and Intergalactic Lupulinary will be limited to 2 six-packs pp.  The total limit will be 4 six-packs per person (per state law).  Sorry, but there will be NO growler fills of Ice Cream Man, Rakautra, or Intergalactic Lupulinary on Saturday.  Growler fills of other beers (and beer flights) may not be available, depending on lines.
 
Holden Johnson from Radio 104.1 will be here broadcasting live beginning at 1pm.  Sorry, we will not have Corona.  We hope to see you here on Saturday.
