Bear Republic Brewing Co. Debuts Challenge Series #11 Double Brut IPA

Bear Republic Brewing Co. in Cloverdale, California has announced the debut of a limited-release pub-only beer in its Challenge Series.

Challenge Series #11 is a souped-up Brut IPA with Citra and Galaxy hops as well as the splendidly dry mouthfeel and finish that's expected of a Brut IPA-style beer.

ABV: 8.0% – IBUs: <15 – Color: Golden

Tasting Notes:

Malts: 2-row, white wheat and crystal

Yeast: BRBC Ale Yeast

Overall: Challenge Series 11 takes us on the first lap. This is an 8% Double Brut IPA. Late hop additions of over 4 pounds per barrel of Citra and Galaxy hops set the pace of this beer. The juicy start of this beer ends bone dry. Are you up for the Challenge?
