BC: Who came up with this beer’s recipe?
I come up with the vast majority of our recipes. However, everyone on the team had their hand in bringing the concept to life.

BC: What’s your favorite aspect of this beer (flavor, aroma, etc.)?
The aroma of this beer is such a true expression of what Simcoe hops have to offer. It definitely showcases the fruitier side of that particular variety. Often Simcoe can be described as "catty" and we tried to steer clear of that aspect of the hop. I've got to give credit to Riverbend Malt House for their "Base Camp" rendition creating such a solid base for this one.

BC: Where does this beer’s name come from?
It came from the original Batman TV series in the 60s. Robin would always say "Holy (insert word or phrase here) Batman." It would crack me up every time!
