Birdsong Releases Collaboration Beer With Unknown Brewing
Birdsong Brewing Co. has announced the release of Deep Purple, a 5.2% ABV cream ale brewed in collaboration with Unknown Brewing Co. For more, see the announcement below:

Our friends at Unknown Brewing are used to going a little out of the box with their styles, naming conventions, and general shenanigans. It's why they're awesome and a big reason why we collaborated with them for this week's beer.
Deep Purple is our take on a non-beer-colored beer. Using purple sweet potatoes, pea sprouts, and elderberry, this cream ale has a unique dark purple tint and is deceivingly delicious. On the nose you'll find a pleasant and sweet potato aroma while hints of berry provide an almost grape-like fruity finish.
We want you to drink it on THURSty THURSday, but we're also re-releasing it on Saturday for a special Veteran's Day Drink for a Cause with Unknown Brewing. For each Deep Purple purchased, we're donating $1 to Purple Heart Homes. Oh, and did we mention we're social media swapping with Unknown?
