East Brother Beer Company is set to mark a significant milestone as they prepare to celebrate their 7-year anniversary at their taproom in Richmond on Sunday, February 18th. In conjunction with the culmination of Bay Area Beer Week, the event promises a day-long extravaganza featuring exclusive brews, the unique Tapwagon + Bierstacheln experience, delectable culinary offerings, and live musical performances - an occasion open to all, including families.
Central to the anniversary festivities is the unveiling of RFK '89, a collaborative brew crafted in partnership with Dave McLean of Admiral Maltings, Eddie Gobbo of Harmonic Brewing Company, and East Brother Beer Company's Brewmaster Paul Liszewski. This British Golden Ale pays homage to the camaraderie within the brewing community and will be showcased both on tap and as part of the Taproom Series.
Attendees can look forward to the Tapwagon Experience, where a diverse selection of beers, including the renowned barrel-aged series and the freshly released Doppelbock, will be served. The highlight of the experience will undoubtedly be the Bierstacheln demonstration, an age-old technique involving a hot poker that enhances beer flavor through caramelization. S'mores kits will also be available for purchase, adding a whimsical touch to the proceedings.
No celebration is complete without good food and music, and East Brother Beer Company delivers on both fronts. Partnering with local food trucks Golden Gate Bistro and Uncle Cheezy’s ensures a variety of culinary delights, while Grammy-nominated artist Andre Thierry, hailing from Richmond, will provide a musical backdrop from 3-6pm.
