It's Scrag-arita Time! Lawson's Finest Liquids Releases Summer Seasonal in July
This refreshing and zesty pilsner beer is sure to satiate your thirst in the scorching summer months starting this July. Formerly known as Scrag Mountain Pils Salt & Lime, this beer is an exceptionally summer sipper.
Summertime means terrific summer seasonals, and Lawson's Finest Liquids in Waitsfield, Vermont doesn't disappoint on that front. The brewery's brand-new Scrag-arita is sure to whet the whistle of any craft beer aficionado that gets their hands on this limited summer seasonal.
Originally named "Scrag Mountain Pils Salt & Lime," this renamed seasonal beer (only available in July) is hitting shelves across the brewery's nine-state distribution portfolio.
This Czech Pilsner features "a delicate dance of fresh lime and sea salt that creates a vibrant brew with a crisp, refreshing finish," according to the brewery.
The name "Scragarita" originally referred to a beer cocktail that contained Scrag Mountain Pils Salt & Lime that was featured on the brewery's website. The recipe is here:
Scragarita (made with Scrag Salt & Lime)
*Makes two drinks
- 2.5 oz. tequila blanco
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
- .25 oz. simple syrup
- 4 oz. Scrag Mountain Pils Salt and Lime
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain over ice in two glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge.
