This beer was a collaboration among the entire Motorworks Brewing team.
BC: What’s your favorite aspect of this beer (flavor, aroma, etc.)?
Big kumquat flavor with huge citrus notes and low ABV.
BC: Where does this beer’s name come from?
It’s a reference to the classic rockumentary parody Spinal Tap and how they lost their drummer in a Bizarre Gardening Accident.
BC: Is this your “desert island beer?”
No, but it would be great to drink in the desert.
BC: Can you describe this beer in 10 words or less?
Intense tart flavor of kumquat.
BC: What's a good food pairing for this beer?
Eggs benedict with chipotle hollandaise. Pretty much anything spicy, we love it with Thai dishes.
