Nine Pin Ciderworks, New York’s first farm cidery, is excited to announce the release of two distinct canned cider varieties. Ginger Mule is being released as a core cider product and Raspberry Rosé is a new addition to Nine Pin’s specialty batch line. Both ciders celebrate Nine Pin's commitment to crafting exceptional beverages from 100% New York apples, never from concentrate.
Launching on January 27 for Nine Pin 26ers and distributors, and available to the public in the Tasting Room on January 28, Ginger Mule is a refreshing evolution of Nine Pin’s beloved ginger cider. Crafted with apples from Samascott Orchards in Kinderhook, NY, and infused with ginger and lime, this spicy cider pays homage to the classic cocktail.
“We love our original ginger cider, but when we experimented with a ginger-and-lime batch, it was an instant hit,” said Alejandro del Peral, co-owner of Nine Pin. “We’re thrilled to share this new twist and think our fans will love it just as much as we do.”
Nine Pin’s Raspberry Rosé cider is the first in a series of new, smaller specialty batch ciders to be released in 2025. Crafted with 100% New York apples from Samascott Orchards, and co-fermented with raspberries from Yonder Farms and grapes from Walker's Vineyard, Raspberry Rosé is a bright, tart cider with well-balanced raspberry notes that complement its crisp apple base.
Nine Pin’s Specialty Batch series releases are, by design, limited; they will only be available in Nine Pin’s Tasting Room and local independent liquor stores.
“We expect Raspberry Rosé to be a new favorite for many cider lovers,” said del Peral. “It’s a perfect example of how we use local fresh fruit to create something truly special.”
Nine Pin’s Raspberry bottles are back as well, featuring that trademark raspberry zest with the refreshing notes of the apple. Bottles are available in the Tasting Room and on Nine Pin’s online store.
