Rogue Cold Brew IPA Percolates Onto Shelves

Rogue Ales Cold Brew IPA

Rogue Ales' latest release, Cold Brew IPA has just released nationwide. Featuring a nuanced blend of Stumptown Coffee Roaster's Cold Brew Coffee and Rogue's own hops, the 7.5% ale boasts a nice balance of delicate roasty coffee goodness on top of a pleasant hop and malt melange designed to bring the coffee flavor to the fore without the overpowering bitter aspects of beer and beans. On draft and in 22 oz everywhere. Read more in the press release below:

Rogue Ales announces a collision of big flavors with the release of Cold Brew IPA. Stumptown Coffee Roasters’ Cold Brew Coffee is blended with an IPA made using Rogue Farms hops for a unique interplay of hops and coffee flavors. Opening with a huge hit of rich coffee aroma that is balanced by a not-so-subtle hop punch, the transition is seamless from one bold flavor to the next.

Oregon roasted and brewed, Stumptown’s Cold Brew Coffee is made with the highest quality coffee, cold-brewed for over 12 hours, and then double filtered for a smooth, complex brew. Oregon grown and brewed, Rogue’s IPA is brewed using Rogue Farms hops and specifically designed to meld with Cold Brew Coffee.

“These are two of my favorite things,” said Rogue Brewmaster John 'More Hops' Maier. “I would describe it as Oregon IPA meets Oregon Cold Brew Coffee.”

Rogue Cold Brew IPA will arrive in April; find it on draft and in 22 oz bottles nationwide. For more information on the Cold Brew IPA revolution, visit rogue.com.
