Sabine the Seeker Returns at Reformation Brewery

Reformation Brewery in Woodstock, Georgia has announced plans to reintroduce Sabine the Seeker, a 5.1 percent ABV dry-hopped French Saison, with a brand new recipe.

ATLANTA (Tuesday, February 27) – ‘Tis the saison for a fresh, new beer, Atlanta! On Friday, March 2, Reformation Brewery will reintroduce “Sabine the Seeker,” a refreshing, dry hopped French Saison, in Reformation’s Keeping Room. The celebration will last until 10 p.m., with The French Truck on-site at 5 p.m. providing delicious French bites that pair perfectly with this Saison. Available on draft and in 12 oz. cans in Reformation’s Keeping Room and across the Georgia market starting the first week of March, Sabine (5.1 percent ABV) returns to the market after a popular limited release last year, with a new, updated recipe.

This year’s version of Sabine is dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and features prominent late additions of Huell Melon and Hallertau Blanc hops with notes of cantaloupe, orange blossom, and a mild white pepper finish. Saison, which is French for “season” is a style that was historically brewed to quench the thirst of farmhands and originated in French speaking areas of Belgium. The yeast strain creates a very pleasant dry finish along with some subtle pepper notes and light fruity flavors – the perfect complement to warmer weather and the start of spring.

The new can art was designed by Jordan Marchildon, a friend and family member of the brewery. As one of her favorite Reformation beers to date, Marchildon took equal interpretation from what the saison style means to her in balance and subtle but unique nuances.

As part of Reformation’s long-term growth strategy, Sabine is another persona in a family of beers on a journey to “set beer free.” Reformation believes there is a bit of “The Seeker” in each of us, and Sabine pays homage to that story.
