Wilmington, North Carolina, which is home to 17 local breweries, took a direct hit from Hurricane Florence in September and is just now recovering from the turmoil.

However, with the holiday season swiftly approaching, the city's Wilmington Ale Trail wants to extend an invitation to any thirsty travelers looking for great beer.

Wilmington Ale Trail recently released a video to its social media accounts, inviting tourists to come stay in Wilmington and imbibe the city's delectable brews and inviting atmosphere.

The release from Wilmington Ale Trail says the following: "In September, Wilmington, NC, took a direct hit from Hurricane Florence. Many of our friends, colleagues, and businesses suffered devastating personal and financial losses. As we continue to recover know that our local beer culture is alive and well. All 17 of our local breweries are up and running so join us for a beer!"
