Drinking this beer is like being kissed by the Belgian countryside at sunset.
Delightfully polite and diplomatic – characteristics that seem to grow in Belgium – there’s a subtle tartness, saison-esque spice and a champagne-like malt finish made just slightly crispy by the hops.
Coupled with the burnished unfiltered gold of the pour and a cloud-like cushion of foam, it’s tempting to declare this beer to be a perfect ending to any sunny day — or any gradual closing of tenure one would like to choose.
