Richard Browning, the creator of jetpacks, confidently claims that these technological marvels allow individuals to soar through the skies at an impressive speed of 130 km/h. This incredible velocity, combined with the ability to sustain flight for a duration of 5 minutes, presents an array of exciting opportunities, particularly in the realm of combat operations.
With such capabilities, jetpacks have the potential to revolutionize the way military forces navigate and engage in various missions, providing them with a distinct advantage in terms of mobility and tactical maneuverability. While you are playing on pixelated fighters in the game JetX, science is moving forward, and someone is flying with a real jetpack.
On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in a groundbreaking event, the United States special forces astounded the world with an extraordinary flight demonstration utilizing state-of-the-art jet suits. This awe-inspiring demonstration took place in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and breathtaking landscapes. The remarkable details of this historic event, which captivated the attention of millions, were unveiled on the official website of the highly esteemed American television channel Fox 13, known for its commitment to delivering accurate and reliable news to its viewers.
The demonstration showcased the incredible advancements in technology and the unwavering dedication of the U.S. special forces in pushing the boundaries of human capabilities. It was a testament to the ingenuity and innovative spirit of the U.S., solidifying its position as a global leader in military technology and aviation. The event left spectators in awe, with many hailing it as a testament to the indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment of the brave men and women who serve in special forces.
During the special forces conference, two brave soldiers took flight using jet suits developed by the innovative startup Gravity Industries, reminiscent of the famous Marvel superhero Iron Man. They effortlessly soared multiple times over the Gulf of Mexico, skillfully navigating from ship to ship and finally landing at the docks. It is worth noting that one of the pilots proudly displayed a Ukrainian flag attached to his backpack, showcasing unwavering support for the United States.
As the visionary founder of Gravity Industries, Richard Browning elucidated that the jet suits, boasting an impressive 1500 horsepower, can achieve speeds of approximately 130 km/h and sustain flight for up to 5 minutes, reaching altitudes of up to 3600 m. According to military experts, this remarkable capability equips special and elite forces to execute a diverse range of critical missions, encompassing raids, sabotage, maritime boarding operations and the rescue of injured soldiers on the battlefield.
Browning also mentioned that each suit has a price of around $500,000, even though cost-effective 3D-printed components are used in the production process.
"The suit operates on a simple mechanism. Your hands serve as the control interface, akin to a camera tripod with three legs. Point your hands downward to ascend, spread them apart to descend, and the rest is as instinctive as riding a bike or skiing," affirmed the ingenious inventor.
