The Better Beer Book Kickstarter Campaign Goes Live

The Better Beer Book Kickstarter Campaign Goes Live

The Better Beer Book, a sturdy beer book that's comfortable resting either atop a coffee table or a bar, has launched a Kickstarter campaign in order to finance the book for beer lovers of all stripes.

What makes The Better Beer Book so unique? First off, it will be the first ever “board book” about beer, utilizing a thick paper stock most often reserved for children’s books. Of course, the content will be decidedly adult, featuring over 60 pages spotlighting many of America’s most recognizable commercial beer brands.

What follows is an in-depth look at the historic brewers behind these brands including Adolph Coors, David Yuengling and Eberhard Anheuser. The book will feature a glossary of terminology and educational chapters such as “The Essence of Beer,” “Beer Production” and “Beer Distribution”.

The 10 x 6-inch book will feature a die-cut contour that's shaped like the iconic outline of a beer can, promising to make it an irresistible talking point at bars and parties. Beer enthusiasts will delight in fun trivia pull-out slider tabs with fun facts on each beer. For example, readers will be able to find plenty of information on the notorious Keystone Light mascot, Keith Stone.

“This board book is a must-have guide for every beer enthusiast in America, and we have designed it in the shape of a beer can to inspire the love of beer in its readers,” said Jeffrey C, author of The Better Beer Book. “This book has everything a beer lover needs to learn – from the countdown of the top premium beers in the U.S.A. to several types of popular beer.”

Backers of the book on Kickstarter will also have their names published within the book's pages as a special recognition of their contribution, forever etching their names in beer history.

The philosophy behind The Better Beer Book is one of unity and pride in the U.S., and especially the country's great history of beer. This fact is reiterated by the book’s patriotic cover, which is adorned with the American flag.

“We are experiencing some really tough, complex issues on our soil, and this nation needs things that will unite it,” says Jeffrey. “In my opinion, beer has always been adjacent to friends, family and love. This is not about macro vs. micro; it's about coming together. We invite you to join us in helping to unify this country through the majesty of beer.”
