"Biggest Small Beer Ever Made" to Celebrate American Craft Beer Week

American Craft Beer Week

Every year, American craft brewers, now over 4400 strong, come together to celebrate American Craft Beer Week -- which aims to shine a light on local, American brewers across the country.

This year, participating brewers from all 50 states have joined forces to brew an imperial porter using the same ingredients and recipe.

“There’s nothing more American than small and independent craft brewers and their amazing, full-flavored beer," said Julia Herz, craft beer program director at the Brewers Association. "American Craft Beer Week is a time to raise a glass and toast how they have forever changed our beer culture, economy, communities and country as a whole."

Be on the lookout this week (May 16-22) for local celebrations of ACBW, which many brewers commemorate with special brews, collaborations and tap takeovers.

“Craft beer is a unique community where competitors work together to provide beers that represent authenticity, quality and innovation. The unity and collaboration behind the Biggest Small Beer Ever Made shows brewers believe that the success of other independent brewers is their own success.”
