Atlanta's Sweetwater Brewing Company has announced via its Twitter that it will expand distribution to New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The fabled Georgia brewery, currently number 18 on the Brewers Association Top 50 Craft Breweries list, will begin its rollout in September (for New Jersey) and continue into November (for Pennsylvania).

Here is a release from Sweetwater's New Jersey distributor:

(Union, NJ) – Peerless Beverage Company is proud to announce that SweetWater Brewing Company will be the next addition to their impressive portfolio of craft brews. Distribution agreements have been signed and a sampling of their flavorful beers will begin mid-September, 2015. Locals can look forward to enjoying the Southeast’s largest craft brewery in the following seven counties: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex and Union.

Says Chuck Salzman, Vice President and third generation at Peerless, “All of us at Peerless are extremely excited to partner with SweetWater to bring their beers and their culture to New Jersey. We have collaborated on some really exciting ways to kick off things in the market and can’t wait to get started.”

Ranked among the nation’s Top 20 craft breweries in sales by volume according to the Brewer’s Association, SweetWater is touted as one of the fastest growing craft brands in the country.
