How do we properly introduce one of our favorite seasonal brews? Do we present this delicious stout with trumpets and angels singing? Do we slide it in the lineup without ceremony?

Nah.

MexiCali needs no red carpet, paparazzi photo shoot but it's not exactly a backstage brew, either. It deserves a little something more than a cursory mention, don't you think? The best way, of course, is to release MexiCali Stout on the day of the week that started it all: THURSty THURSday. Without our small batch program, MexiCali wouldn't be around. As a matter of fact, we had a pilot batch showdown back in December 2013 and MexiCali (along with another favorite coming out this January) made the cut (those less fortunate included Dixie Porter #2, Red House Wheat, and Oh My Darling IPA). This mole-inspired beer has hints of cinnamon, cacao and fresh coffee, with a touch of serrano peppers for a complementary backheat. It goes well with dessert, football Sundays or your favorite drinking buddy. Don't believe us? Try it for yourself!
