Wild Leap Brew Co. Expands Into Spirits with Wild Leap Vodka

Wild Leap Brew Co. of LaGrange, Georgia has announced the brewery's first foray into the world of spirits with the debut of Wild Leap Vodka.

“Creating high-quality craft beer has always been our focus,” said Wild Leap CEO and Co-Founder Anthony Rodriguez in a press release. “Although we will continue to do so, we are excited to take that same approach to the spirits world.”

Wild Leap Vodka will make its debut in the brewery's taproom starting on August 12, with a planned release date for bottles in select package stores, bars and restaurants during the fall.

LAGRANGE, GA – In the last two years, Wild Leap has established itself as an industry leader in the Georgia craft beer scene. And now, Wild Leap is thrilled to announce the launch of their first spirit, Wild Leap Vodka. Available in select markets this fall, this will be the brewery’s first foray into liquors and spirits.

“Creating high-quality craft beer has always been our focus,” said Wild Leap CEO and Co-Founder Anthony Rodriguez. “Although we will continue to do so, we are excited to take that same approach to the spirits world.”

Wild Leap Vodka will be eight times distilled for a velvety smooth taste. Made from 100% yellow corn and carbon-filtered, the vodka will be both gluten-free and contain zero sugar. For the near future Wild Leap Vodka will be distilled offsite with the help of a partner. However, there are exciting plans in the works for an expansion in LaGrange, Georgia before the end of the year.

Though the spirit will be a Wild Leap produced beverage, the vodka label features an illustration of a bear on the label instead of Wild Leap’s signature buffalo.

“We want our vodka to stand on its own, so we chose a new mark that still encapsulated the spirit of Wild Leap,” explains Rob Goldstein, CMO and co-founder. “A bear represents strength, confidence and a determination to overcome all hurdles. It’s about finding the courage to take chances - in your career, your personal life, or any other aspect of your life.”

The first opportunity to enjoy this handcrafted vodka is in the Wild Leap taproom beginning August 12. The taproom will now feature a cocktail menu ranging from the classic vodka tonic and dirty martini, to in-house creations like Sunset Mule and Blueberry Basil Smash.

“We designed each cocktail with a different flavor palette in mind,” shares Brittany Goldstein, General Manager and Beverage Director. “Each drink will be made to order with high-quality, fresh ingredients with flavors ranging from sweet tea to cucumber mint. Our juices will be freshly squeezed, and we’ll even be offering a twist on the Michelada!”

Shortly after Wild Leap Vodka hits the taproom, patrons will be able to purchase in package stores, bars, and restaurants in LaGrange and Metro Atlanta beginning this fall.
