About Southern Brewers Conference

The Southern Brewers Conference is a regional brewing industry event.
The conference includes a trade show, seminars, education, social events, and more. Our full schedule and list of speakers will be posted soon.

The inaugural conference will be held August 3-6, 2016 at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN.

This is the first year of what will be biennial conference.

The Southern Brewers Conference will be a collaboration between Candace Price, founder of Half Full Productions and Matthew Leff, founder of Rhizome Productions Inc. Both companies are based in Nashville and focus on event production in the food and beverage sector.

Half Full Productions started and has hosted the Music City Brewers Festival since 2002, as well as other long standing events including Taste of Music City, Wine on the River and more. Rhizome Productions has been hosting several craft beer focused festivals in Nashville since 2011, and also hosts similar events in Chattanooga, TN, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Texas.

We look forward to hosting the Southern Brewers Conference and helping the industry grow collectively here in Nashville!

The Music City Center opened in 2013 and is a state of the art convention center. We are excited to host the Southern Brewers Conference at this amazing facility.

We've established group rates for the attendees of SBC.

You can book your rooms online for $199.00 per night (please note that normal room rates at this hotel can exceed $500 per night)

Please book ASAP. (Rate is good until June 1, 2016)

The group rate is available for 8/3/16 to 8/6/16.

The hotel is less then 1 mile away from the venue.

You can extend your stay as needed, but the group rate may not apply.

Millennium Maxwell House Hotel

 

We've established group rates for the attendees of SBC.

You can book your rooms online for $149.00 per night (please note that normal room rates at this hotel can exceed $250 per night)

Please book ASAP. (Rate is good until June 1, 2016)

The group rate is available for 8/3/16 to 8/6/16.

The hotel is less only 3 miles away from the venue, but offers free parking and shuttle service to the Music City Center.

You can extend your stay as needed, but the group rate may not apply.

Trade Show

• With the use of A1 Exhibit Hall in the award winning Music City Center, we will have over 60 industry partners to participate

• Onsite demonstrations on trade show floor in center stage area during the exhibitor trade show, see Sponsorship page for more details

• Sampling opportunities to taste some of the South’s best beers available

• Special trade show pricing may be secured for orders with exhibitors during event

Brewery Tours

The Nashville Brew Bus will be proudly offering guests of the SBC an opportunity to tour breweries in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee Area. Brewery tour options will be offered on Wednesday August 3rd, start at 11am. Tours to be posted soon! Check out the Nashville Brew Bus.

1. All tours will include samples, brewery tour, meet and greet, and lunch! Attendees must be 21+ to enjoy brewery tours. Brewery tour space is limited and likley will sell out quickly, so make sure to book your tour as soon as you register for SBC. Our tours will be posted soon!.

Music City Brewers Festival

The 15th Annual Mafiaoza’s Music City Brewer’s Festival is the largest and longest running beer festival in Nashville. The main event on Saturday has two sessions, 12n-4pm and 6pm-10pm, with over 7,000 consumers and over 50 brands in attendance.

The Friday VIP Event benefits the TN Craft Brewers Guild and showcases only TN brands featuring specialty beers and food pairings as well.

Discounted tickets are available for SBC Attendees for both sessions on Saturday. Stay tuned for more details coming soon, but please remember tickets to the festival are not incldued in your conference registration.
