Peace Tree Brewing Puts "Seal" of Approval on New Seasonal

Peace Tree Brewing Co. in Knoxville, Iowa has announced its newest seasonal. Kiss From a Gose is one of the most cleverly-designed beers in recent memory.

The beer is named after the classic 1994 song by Seal, "Kiss From A Rose," and the beer itself is brewed with rose hips – furthering the connection to Seal's masterwork.

The beer will be available starting this month in bottles and on draft.

Here is the release from Peace Tree:

Our latest seasonal, Kiss from a Gose, was released for the first time last month...and has been pretty much all I've been drinking since.

There is so much a beer can tell you, so much it can say.  Kiss from a Gose is our twist on a classic German gose (pronounced "goes-uh"). This cloudy, golden ale is brewed with malted wheat and barley and undergoes a kettle souring for pronounced tartness. Coriander and hops complement the acidity with a dry spiciness.  Premium sea salt from the Oregon coast is added for a hint of brine and the addition of rose hips imparts a subtly floral, citrus character.  This refreshingly tart ale is brewed with our power, our pleasure and our pain. The more you taste of it, the stranger it feels.  5.25% ABV.

We have a third and final batch of our Kiss from a Gose ready to go for the season, which will be released in bottles and draft early this month.
