Beercycling Adds the "Oregon Beerway" Tour

Beercycling Announces the "Oregon Beerway" Tour

Gearing up for their 7th year “Getting you from Pint A to Pint B” in Europe, Portland-based Beercycling is proud to announce an expansion into the US. The new "Oregon Beerway" tour will kick off in May 2017, featuring 5-days and 4-nights cycling between Portland and Hood River. Riders will visit one or two breweries a day, stay at comfortable hotels adjacent to the breweries, and have the assistance of a support vehicle as they cycle along the historic Columbia River Gorge on some of the most scenic bike trails in the state. The tour is open to cyclists of all skill levels, with rides averaging around 24 miles a day. Registration includes bike rentals, hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, lunch, snacks, brewery tours, vehicle support during the tour, passenger shuttle from the end point back to Portland, and best of all lots of beer samples. The three 2017 tour departures will be led by Beercycling founder Evan Cohan.

2017 Dates: May 26th to 30th (Memorial Day), June 8th to 12th, and September 1st to 5th (Labor Day)

Beercycling also offers a full range of established beer, food, and cycling tours in Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands. These trips are designed for craft beer connoisseurs, who may or may not have much previous cycling experience. Brewery tours are intimate and provide insights into the beer history of each region. The rides and trails are designed to be scenic, safe, and leisurely. Tours feature a strong focus on beer and food pairings, nature, and regional culture. Best of all, riders get to cycle with other like minded beer enthusiasts as they explore each region, one beer at a time.

“I am grateful that we've been Beercycling for 7 years now and have organized over 45 successful tours”, Beercycling founder Evan Cohan explains. “We are proud of the service that we offer, many of the brewers we visit have become good friends, and I believe that riding a bike from town to town is the perfect means of transportation and pace to absorb one's surroundings. We get riders from all backgrounds, all ages, all genders, from locations all around the world, and get to share a common bond over beers every day of each tour. The fact that we can now offer tours in my home state, in addition to the themed tour experiences in Europe, is a dream come true.”
