Devils Backbone Pear Lager Makes Debut in Bottled Six-Packs
Devils Backbone Brewing Co. out of Roseland, Virginia has announced that seasonal favorite Pear Lager is making its debut in brand new packaging of six-packs of bottles.
As its self-explanatory name would suggest, the beer is a fascinating combination of pear within the lager style, making for an easy-drinking and sessionable brew that clocks in at only 4.9% ABV.
The beer will be available starting this month in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft. Previously, the beer was available in 12-ounce cans, but those have now been fully replaced by bottles.
The full release from the brewery is below.
Here’s a fruity craft beer for warmer weathers: Devils Backbone Brewing Co. just released its award-winning Pear Lager in new packaging for its six-pack of bottles for the first time. Think, golden lager with a splash of pear – it’s light and refreshing, with a subtle pear aroma and flavor to match.
What’s different is this isn’t a super fruity beer. DB brewers blend pear juice in the fermentation process to enhance the subtle and fruity nature of Devils Backbone’s signature lager taste, producing a revitalizing combo of lager + pear. Full tasting notes + details below.
