Gnarly Barley Brewing Co. Unveils Planet Juice as Summer Seasonal

Gnarly Barley Brewing Co. in Hammond, Louisiana has announced its new summer seasonal called Planet Juice, which is available on Saturday, May 8 at the brewery's 7th anniversary. Full details are below.

Hammond, Louisiana - Gnarly Barley Brewing announces Planet Juice Juicy Hazy IPA as the Summer offering in their new seasonal beer release calendar. It will be one of four beers in a seasonal rotation, joining a year-round lineup consisting of Jucifer Hazy IPA, Radical Rye IPA, Catahoula Common American Lager, and the award winning Korova Milk Porter.

Planet Juice exhibits the growth and maturity that the brand has experienced in their seven years of brewing and will appropriately debut at the 7th Anniversary celebration on May 8th. A brewery known for its IPA game, this beer demonstrates a graduated and skillful execution of the style. With a base of Premium 2-Row Malt and Mosaic Cryo Hops® and Citra Cryo Hops® it has a generous dose of Pacific Sunrise for the dry hop, resulting in a dynamic and tropical hop expression. Owner Cari Caramonta comments, “We are so excited to be starting our first seasonal lineup with a beer that we truly know you’ll love. We pride ourselves in making amazing IPA’s and this one is a banger.”

Gnarly Barley recently announced the addition of two new distribution territories, resulting in coverage of the entire state of Louisiana. This inaugural seasonal release will be available in a majority of these markets in a six-pack format of 12 ounce cans as well as in 1/6bbl kegs for draft. Subsequent seasonal releases will be made available for distribution in all territories.
