Hazy Sabro IPA by pFriem Family Brewers was judged as as a Specialty IPA, 21B New England IPA, per the 2015 BJCP Style Guidelines.

In an effort to push the limits many brewers pack NEIPAs so full of hops, yeast and sediment that they burn a hole in your stomach. This beer demonstrates balance from start to finish. The robust hop aromas feature fruit, melon and papaya with the fermentation and malt aromas supporting the hops. It pours brassy gold with a moderate haze under a luscious light beige cap with good retention. The brewer achieves big, heady hop flavors without acidity or harshness. Fruit flavors lean towards the tropical with melon around the edges. The bitterness has a light grapefruit zest note. The body, carbonation, malt and fruit soften the medium-high hop bitterness, which lingers through a long fruity tail. The beer starts great and gets better as you drink it. It crosses no boundaries and pushes no edges, but it doesn’t have to, as it’s perfectly World Class just the way it is.
