MillerCoors craft division Tenth and Blake Beer Company has reportedly acquired Granbury, Texas-based Revolver Brewing, making it the third craft acquisition by the brand in the past month, along with Georgia-based Terrapin beer and Oregon-based Hop Valley.
The acquisition continues to reflect a strategy of establishing footholds in key geographic locations, as big brewers rush to shore up their craft portfolios.
“We are excited to be joining the Tenth and Blake family, which shares our commitment to brewing great craft beer,” said Rhett Keisler, Revolver Brewing co-founder and president. “This partnership will allow us to maintain our brewery and operations in Granbury, while providing us with the additional resources to invest in and accelerate the growth of the Revolver brand in Texas.”
The brewery is best known for its Blood and Honey, a wheat ale brewed with blood orange zest, honey and other spices.
