The aroma hits all the bases supported by low, clean grainy malt notes with no grassiness to interfere. The pour settles down to brilliant copper gold under a robust and persistent slightly off-white cap. A big hoppy fruit and citrus push on the tongue with some pleasant spicy notes build to an assertive hop presence that dries the beer out on the finish and pleasantly lingers. The clean hop flavors soften the bitterness, leaving nothing sharp or astringent. The beer is medium-bodied with medium carbonation and leaves a faint alcohol warming after finishing the glass.
