From the Editor (Issue 57)

As we release a new issue of The Beer Connoisseur, the year is winding down and we are starting to prepare for the notable holidays that seem to come in quick succession over the next few months.

To celebrate those upcoming holidays, it's time for our Holiday edition, Issue #57 of the magazine, and we've lined up a bevy of notable stories that will have you intrigued and excited for the season.

We start with a profile of Star Beer USA, which is responsible for introducing one of Africa's most popular and legendary beers, Star Lager Beer, in the United States.

Next up is a piece about Heisler Beer in Hollywood, which is the most famous beer you've never heard of or tasted... because of an interesting reason. Read the story to find out what it is!

Pat Evans joins us for two stories. The first is the Best Ways to Get Rid of a Beer Belly, an issue that all beer fans have had to deal with at some point in their fandom. Then, he offers up some of the best beer fridges on the market in his Beer Fridge Buyer's Guide.

With Christmas a very short time from now, Kristen Kuchar offers up a list of ugly Christmas sweaters, all of which are sure to be a hit at your office or family holiday party.

Following that is Jessica Zimmer with a piece about Butterbeer from the Harry Potter series, and its real-life versions: the official one in Universal Orlando's Wizarding World of Harry Potter and other homemade renditions that are more like 16th-century "buttered beer" beverages.

Lastly, Marty Nachel ventured out to Superior Bathhouse Brewery in Hot Springs, Arkansas to sample brews from the only craft brewery on National Parkland. They use pure, heated water from the hot springs to boot!

Of course, no issue would be complete without our Official Review, Brewer Q&As and Industry News and Issue #57 is no exception.

Thanks for reading and we'll see you next issue – for our famed year-end Beer in Review annual wrap-up!

Cheers!
