Revolution Brewing Unveils 15-Packs of EveryDay-Hero Session IPA

Revolution Brewing in Chicago, Illinois has announced that the newest beer in its popular Hero line of IPAs has been released.

EveryDay-Hero Session IPA clocks in at an easy-drinking 4.3 percent ABV and is perfect for sessionable sipping.

The full release from the brewery is below.

CHICAGO – Revolution Brewing is now shipping fresh 15-packs of EveryDay-Hero, a new session IPA with a low 4.3 percent ABV, to local markets. A modern blend of hops adds a tropical flavor to this year-round brew designed for every-day enjoyment. Every Day-Hero is a full-bodied craft IPA that goes low on the alcohol while still bringing the great taste that people expect from Revolution.

“Any time we come up with a new beer, we absolutely want it to have that Revolution stamp on it. Every Day-Hero isn’t like anything we’ve brewed before,” brewmaster Jim Cibak said. “The hops bring some really unique flavors to a very refreshing beer. We spent a lot of time experimenting with different hops and recipes until we had exactly the beer you want at the end of a long day.”

Every Day-Hero is the lowest-ABV beer Revolution produces in cans — an ideal porch beer, but also great for a backyard cookout, an outdoor concert or a ballgame. Of course, it tastes great on the couch after a long day of saving the world. 15-packs are available now at retailers. Save the day, every day.

The Boston Beer Co. Debuts Marathon Brewing's 26.2 Brew

The Boston Beer Co. in Boston, Massachusetts has announced that its new imprint Marathon Brewing has released the brewery's first beer that's focused on craft beer fans with an active lifestyle.

26.2 Brew was developed in collaboration with Shelley Smith, a brewer, marathon runner and triathlete with the idea of crafting a beer that provides "purpose and balance for drinkers seeking more," according to a release from the brewery.

“As someone who loves beer and running, having the opportunity to brew a beer that helps runners celebrate their hard work was a passion project for me,” says Smith, Advanced Cicerone and Manager of Research & Product Innovation at The Boston Beer Company, in a release. “Understanding what is important to runners is what made brewing this beer different from what is currently available. While most brewers are stripping flavor to hit a certain calorie mark, we focused on brewing a beer that not only fit what runners were looking for, but also delivered a great taste.”

ATLANTA, GA - This March, breweries from around the globe are pouring up support for women in the brewing industry. And on Friday, March 8th, Woodstock’s Reformation Brewery taps into a collaborative brew made with help from former intern and recent Auburn University Brewing Science Program graduate, Jennifer Smoot.

Nicknamed “The Loud Peach,” the draft only limited release is Jennifer’s first recipe. “I am so excited to have been asked by my good friends at Reformation Brewery to collaborate on a Pink Boots brew to be released on International Women’s Day,” Smoot said. “For my first recipe, I chose a saison, which is a lovely style to usher in the spring season, and the peaches are a nod to the great state of Georgia, where I plan to open my brewery in the near future.”
