Motorworks Brewing in Bradenton, Florida has announced the newest release in the brewery's Bizarre Gardening Accident series of sour beers.

Bizarre Gardening Accident Pina Colada is a "Florida Weisse" brewed with sweet pea flowers, pineapple and coconut to produce the tropical and inviting Pina Colada profile that gives this beer its name.

The brewery also has three other limited-release, taproom-only beers available. All four beers are listed below.

Heavy Seas Beer in Baltimore, Maryland has announced its full beer portfolio and multiple new releases for 2019.

The beer unveiled three new limited-release selections of Citra Cannon (a Citra-fied version of the brewery's popular Loose Cannon IPA), Sun Burst Sour Ale and Night Swell Dark IPA to be released seasonally throughout the year.

"We are always very excited to produce new products, so 2019 will definitely be a great year from a creativity perspective," said Heavy Seas Founder Hugh Sisson in a release. "We hope to make new friends in the broad market as well as the taproom."

AleSmith Brewing Co. in San Diego, California has announced plans for the brewery's second annual New Year's Eve Hop Drop.

Featuring party favors, special release beers (such as Apple Cinnamon Speedway Stout), a DJ and more, AleSmith's Hop Drop will debut new beer releases on draft all day.

SAN DIEGO, CA – For the second year in a row, AleSmith Brewing Company will be welcoming the New Year in true craft brewery style with a unique “hop drop” at the Tasting Room. Guests will enjoy festive party favors, DJ music, two dance floors, and a choice between two different ticket options. Both tickets include an east coast New Year’s toast at 9p.m. PST with a preview pour of AleSmith’s February 2019 release of “Brütiful Day” Brüt IPA.

For $20 including tax and gratuity, “Beers & Cheers” ticket holders will receive a special flight consisting of tasters of Gregariously Hopped IPA, Strawberry Tart Horny Devil, Single Barrel Old Numbskull, and Apple Cinnamon Speedway Stout, one of the winners of AleSmith’s popular Speedway Grand Prix event. The Brüt IPA will be served in time for the hop drop, during which a giant hop flower will be lowered from the ceiling to coincide with the New Year’s Eve countdown.

The venerable North Coast Brewing Co. in Fort Bragg, California has announced the release of two limited-edition barrel-aged beers.

The first is a barrel-aged version of the brewery's popular Imperial Stout, Old Rasputin. The other is a version of Old Stock Ale that's been aged in rye whiskey barrels.

Karbach Brewing Co. in Houston, Texas has joined the Brut IPA fray with a new Rosé wine-inspired beer called Daymaker.

The beer is brewed with Hallertau Blanc, Saphir and Lemondrop hops and clocks in at 15 IBUs and 6 percent ABV.
