Flying Dog Brewery Debuts Switch Doctor Imperial Sour Ale

Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland has announced a new imperial sour ale called Switch Doctor, which is brewed with pineapple and mango. Full details are below.

Frederick, Md. – Flying Dog Brewery’s latest release, Switch Doctor Imperial Sour Ale, is a potent concoction of pineapple and mango that comes to us from the deepest part of the jungle. This sweet and tart sour will be available in 6-packs of 12 oz bottles starting in June.

Switch Doctor’s super balanced sour flavor profile brings in the sweetness of the beer’s mango while allowing highlights of the pineapple’s acidity to shine through. This combination creates a delicious balance of sweet and tart fruity flavors in the 10% ABV imperial which has 10 IBUs.

“What we started with Vicious Hook we’ve continued with Switch Doctor, this time in a higher-octane package,” said Ben Clark, Brewmaster at Flying Dog Brewery. “Our brew team enjoys playing with recipes until we’ve found the right balance of sour flavors to give you that perfect pucker. And while the liquid inside is enough to make you a fan, having it wrapped in such vibrant Ralph Steadman packaging makes it a must-try release.”

As part of this partnership, during the month of June, Samuel Adams and New Belgium will donate 100% of the purchase price of the co-brewed Love Conquers Ale directly to GLAAD, a leading nonprofit organization working to accelerate acceptance and advance equality for the LGBTQ+ community. Monday Night Brewing Releases New Variants of The Tiger That Killed My Father

Monday Night Brewing in Atlanta, Georgia has announced that two variants of The Tiger That Killed My Father, which were released last weekend. Full details are below.

A predator is on the loose.

Seeking out the scent of white crew socks and khaki pants.

But good news for you—if you’re not a dad that is—the Tiger That Killed My Father returns to our Atlanta taprooms this Friday (5/28) in two new unique, new variants: Coconut Hazelnut and Mocha Latte.

These untamed, double rye imperial stouts were first aged in maple bourbon and vanilla barrels, then went down their own paths with adjuncting.

COCONUT HAZELNUT

Coconut Hazelnut combines toasted and untoasted coconut, toasted hazelnuts, Ugandan vanilla, and cinnamon for an expression of rich, fierce flavors you might not recover from.

MOCHA LATTE

Mocha Latte draws inspiration from its name with the addition of Batdorf & Bronson coffee, vanilla, and cacao nibs. This tiger might seem like it's mellow, but trust us, it's just as vicious.
