Odell Brewing Co. Releases Witkist Grapefruit White Ale

Odell Brewing Co. in Fort Collins, Colorado has announced the release of a new grapefruit white ale called Witkist. Full details on the beer are below.

Fort Collins, CO. - Odell Brewing announced the addition of Witkist Grapefruit White Ale to their year round portfolio.

Witkist Grapefruit White is a modern take on a Belgian-style White Ale with bright aromas of citrus from pureed grapefruit, and a delicate spice from dried orange peel and coriander.

As a hop-forward brewery with a love for IPAs, Odell Brewing wanted to round out their portfolio by offering a bright, refreshing White Ale that explores a new flavor profile driven by complex fermentation.

“American craft beer is all about bending the rules. While we enjoy a classic Belgian Wit, we thought about how we’d share our take on style,” explains COO, Brendan McGivney. “The addition of fresh grapefruit puree was exactly what we were looking for. The tart grapefruit perfectly compliments the sweet esters of Belgian yeast.”

Whitkist Grapefruit White debuts a year after the successful release of Sippin’ Pretty Fruited Sour.

“The response from Sippin Pretty has been incredible,” explains McGivney. “While we’ll always love experimenting with IPAs, Sippin’ Pretty showed us that the flavor profiles of beer are endless and by exploring them we’re inviting more fans into the craft beer community.”

Cape May, NJ -- Cape May Brewing Company is pleased to announce the release of Tan Limes, a Mexican lager with Persian lime juice and local sea salt, to their lineup of summer core offerings. “Tan Limes has been a home run,” says Cape May Brewing Company CEO Ryan Krill. “When we released it on draft last April, the response was absolutely fantastic. Our loyal fans went wild, immediately asking us to package Tan Limes in cans. When we did, we couldn’t keep them on the shelves. It was obvious to all of us that Tan Limes deserved a bigger place in our lineup, and we couldn’t be happier to bring this refreshing and drinkable brew to taps and shelves throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.”

Brewed with a touch of locally-sourced sea salt and a hint of Persian lime juice, Tan Limes is a light and refreshing Mexican lager, fresh, zesty, and intensely drinkable.

Avery Brewing Company’s roots go deep with IPAs. Parish Brewing Partners with Tavour Online Bottleshop

Parish Brewing in Broussard, Louisiana has announced a partnership with Tavour online beer buying mobile app to make its beer available to more consumers. Full details on this partnership are below.

SEATTLE, WA — Ghost in the Machine Imperial IPA is doing for Louisiana what Pliny the Elder did for California and what Heady Topper did for Vermont — it’s raising the bar for top-tier NE-Style IPAs in its corner of the country.

And now, they’re working with the online retailer Tavour so craft beer drinkers can access this Imperial IPA in limited quantities outside of Parish’s home state — along with other highly-rated brews from this influential small brewery.

When Ghost in the Machine  was first released, Louisiana craft fans waited in long lines for hours-on-end in the muggy Louisiana heat in hopes of scoring a bottle. Now, as Parish’s best-selling beer, it’s gone almost as soon as pre-sales open. “[Ghost in the Machine was] the first beer we brewed that put us on the map,” says brewer Jack Caffery. “We had a line down the street and we haven’t been able to make enough since.”

Previously only available at the taproom and through limited distribution channels in Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Texas, now Tavour app users will have access to Parish beers through their flash-sale model in up to 25 additional states.
