Cape May Brewing Co. in Cape May, New Jersey and Night Shift Brewing in Everett, Massachusetts have announced a collaboration beer called Brewberry -- an imperial stout with coffee and blueberries. More details on the beer are below.

Cape May, NJ -- Cape May Brewing Company and Night Shift Brewing of Everett, Massachusetts, are pleased to announce a collaboration beer: Brewberry, an Imperial Stout with coffee and blueberry, is brewed with coffee roasted by Night Shift in their recent expansion into coffee roasting.

Brewberry is an incredibly indulgent and decadent brew with an exceptionally robust malt bill that accentuates the natural coffee flavors and a whirlpool charge of Mosaic hops that brings out the natural blueberry flavors present in the coffee. A generous helping of blueberry juice was added at the tail-end of fermentation to add a jammy, subtle tartness to the otherwise chocolatey and decadent brew.

“We respect Night Shift and what they’re doing,” says Cape May Brewing Company’s CEO, Ryan Krill, regarding the collaboration. “Both breweries are relatively similar in terms of vintage and size, and, like us with Cape Beverage Distributing, they’ve opened their own wholesaler in Massachusetts. With all of our synergies, coming together to brew a great beer was a no-brainer.”

Night Shift is excited about the possibilities in collaborating with Cape May, as well.

Buskey Cider Unveils Spring Seasonal: Peach Tea Cider

Buskey Cider in Richmond, Virginia has announced the release of Peach Tea Cider, the cidery's spring seasonal. More details are below.

RICHMOND, Va. — Buskey Cider, located in the Scott’s Addition neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia is releasing its spring seasonal cider, Peach Tea Cider, on Valentine’s Day.

The cider was crafted with loose leaf peach tea blend crafted by Richmond’s CaryTown Teas which includes white tea and peach blossoms. The cider will be available on tap and in 16 oz. cans around the state, in addition to being available in their tasting room.

“Gosh, I’m pumped to have the Peach Tea Cider back this season. This is the third year in a row we’ve significantly increased the batch size and it’s still going to run out quick.” said Will Correll, founder of Buskey Cider. “The aromatic peach blossoms, distinctive white tea, and balanced sweetness from our Virginia apples make this a fan favorite, and with how delicious this cider is, it’s not surprising.”

Correll opened Buskey Cider with his wife at the age of 26 in April 2016 in Scott’s Addition, described as Richmond’s booziest craft beverage neighborhood. Like all their labels, the Peach Tea Cider label was designed in house by co-owner, Elle Correll.
