Heavy Seas Beer Debuts Bmore Snoball

Heavy Seas Beer in Baltimore, Maryland has announced the release of the newest beer from the brewery's taproom.

Bmore Snoball is an Egg Custard Ale inspired by the local Baltimore delicacy.

The full release from the brewery is below.

You can try Bmore Snoball on draft or grab a 4pack of 16oz cans to go ONLY at the Bmore Snoball Releaseexclusively in the Heavy Seas Taproom at the brewery on Friday, July 26th!

"We used imported, nutty Maris Otter Pale malt as the base for this Blonde Ale inspired by the classic Baltimore summer treat," says Heavy Seas Brewmaster, Christopher Leonard. "A touch of Munich Malt provides a hint of bready character to go with a whisper of Strisselspalt hops. To replicate the Egg Custard Snoball flavor, we've added vanilla (LOTS of vanilla!) and just a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon. The result is a beer with a comforting aroma, a sweet dessert-like start and a surprisingly soft finish."

The label artwork was designed by local Baltimore artist, Owen Murphy, of One Drop Design Studio!

This IPA was inspired by our neighbors in aviation and brewed with a variety of modern and experimental hops that create silky, tropical, limey flavors. It's packed with tropical notes and presents a hazy appearance from the addition of flaked oats. The grains used are sustainably grown and locally-sourced from Riverbend Malt House.

Description

A light colored, bready lager that became popular in Bohemia after many years of spoiled and inconsistent beer led to riots in the streets. We've collaborated with North Carolina's Riverbend Malt House to develop a custom batch of floor-malted Barley which creates the unique flavor profile of this marquee style. Saaz hops add a slight bitterness while allowing spicy and herbal aromas to show through. A crisp summertime drinker!
