Sun King Spirits Tap Room and Distillery Announces Menu and Hours of Operation

Sun King Spirits Tap Room and Distillery in Carmel, Indiana recently celebrated its grand opening a few weeks back. Now, the brewery has announced a new menu, new libations and hours of operations for the spirits tasting room.

"The Tap Room, Distillery, and Food Hall is housed in a 15,000-square foot building that was specifically designed and built for Sun King," according to a release from the brewery.

Multiple food kiosks are available on-site, with a burger vendor slated to open in August.

Sun King Spirits is located at 351 Monon Blvd. in Carmel's newly redeveloped Midtown District. The Tap Room, Distillery, and Food Hall is housed in a 15,000 square foot building that was specifically designed and built for Sun King.

The space features two floors, lots of family-friendly space, with a large 21+ bar area, a covered patio on the main level, a rooftop deck, and food kiosks by Oca, La Margarita, and Pi Pizza, with a burger vendor to open in August.

Stone Brewing Co. has announced the return of one of its most popular beers: Stone Farking Wheat W00TStout makes a triumphant return for its 2018 rendition.

A collaboration between Stone's Greg Koch, actor and internet icon Wil Wheaton and the founder of Fark.com, Drew Curtis, W00TStout is an immense, barrel-aged stout that clocks in at 11.5% for its 2018 edition.

The beer is available now on draft, in 22-ounce bomber bottles and, for the first time, in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles. The full release from Stone is below.

The Bruery in Placentia, California has announced that two of its popular beers, Or Xata and Mischief, will be made available in 16-ounce cans for the first time in the brewery's history.

The beers will be available in the tasting room of The Bruery and Bruery Terreux starting this week.

Birdsong Brewing Announces French Macaron-Inspired Beer

Birdsong Brewing Co. in Charlotte, North Carolina has announced the release of an exciting new beer that's inspired by French macarons and produced in collaboration with a local French bakery.

La Vie en Lavender is a collaboration between Birdsong and Amelie's French Bakery. The beer is a subtly sour, fragrantly floral and delightfully refreshing brew that will only be available from the brewery on July 19.

Also, $2 from every sale of La Vie en Lavender will go to Tim Out Youth, a group devoted to protecting LGBTQ youth. The full release from the brewery is below.

Back East Brewing Co. Rolls Out Two Can Releases

Back East Brewing Co. in Bloomfield, Connecticut has announced the re-release of Suzy Greenberg Mango IPA and Rakautra IPA, both of which will be available in cans from the brewery starting July 19.

Both are eminently quaffable and feature delightfully juicy and fruity flavors. In Suzy Greenberg's case, it's from the addition of mangos during brewing and for Rakautra, that fruity nature comes courtesy of the inclusion of Rakua hops from New Zealand. The full release from the brewery is below.
