A hazy IPA with natural mango flavor and a wicked curveball. Light, hazy, and refreshing, this beer is packed with flavor from hefty dry-hopping and natural mango. You could say it’s in a league of its own.

There's No Crying In Baseball by Evil Genius Beer Co. was judged as a Fruit Beer (base beer American IPA).

This Hazy IPA with added natural mango flavor earns a place in your fridge for drinking often. The beer pours hazy orange tinted yellow under a robust creamy beige cap. The haze comes from the hops and not from malt starch or added material. The brewer displays a deft touch with the added mango boosting the tropical fruit new world hop character without overwhelming the beer. Everything plays together well without going overboard. The mango leads the big tropical fruit aroma but still allows a light grainy sweet malt character to show through. There is nothing acidic, starchy, creamy or buttery in the flavor or the aroma and the alcohol is smooth and soft. Slightly sweet mango and tropical fruit begin the flavors, leading to a mildly bitter hop note and long, pleasant tail. The beer leaves the mouth dry and wanting more. A little more meringue character in the head and a little more quirkiness would make this beer world-class, but as it is, I would pick up a six-pack right now if I could.
