Tremor California Citrus Wheat by Seismic Brewing Co. was evaluated as a BJCP 2021 Category, 29A Fruit Beer with the underlying style of Category 1D American Wheat Beer.

The beer pours with a large white head of tiny bubbles, which is persistent. There is a slight haziness (common for wheat beers) to the light gold color. Well carbonated, bubbles continue to rise.  A nice grapefruit, lemon and lime juice and zest aroma greets the nose, along with a pleasant light freshly baked bread note. The citrus smells bright and fresh and has a zing to it. Flavor follows the aroma closely, more accenting the lemon and lime juice character, but also some citrus zest (without the pith - very clean), along with the walking-into-the-bakery bready flavors. There is a low hop bittering that is smooth. The beer finishes with a citrus note that lingers pleasingly. The fruit complements the wheat bready notes throughout for a very pleasant experience. It brings all the citrus that you need - this is definitely an NFL ('No Freaking Lime') beer! Pair this with a cedar-plank salmon or let it complement and palate-cleanse for a meaty lasagna.
