I am told Mexican Lager and I think “oh no, another fizzy yellow beer” and am tempted to slam it down faster than a frat boy on spring break. It has the smell and flavors – light corn, floral, faint cracker and hints of apple and it looks the part – brilliant straw, 2” cap, effervescent, but then it hits the palate and you pause and notice.
